Upscale place with a full bar. From steaks to crab cakes, they probably have something for you. Also, unless you're new in town, someone will come by and say hello.

What a fiasco! We were seated at our 7pm reservation time but only 1\2 our party had food on the table by 8:40, and their food was cold. By the time the rest of us got our food 3 of our party were completely finished. At one point our waitress, who had been apologizing profusely, was sobbing. Not till we were paying did anyone from management appear. All we were offered was a lame excuse about how there was an issue in the kitchen and she had to lower the boom on her staff, but she would make it up to them, and buy them pizza! What about your paying customers, lady?? Horrible Management!

The food here is amazing. Had the seafood bisque and couldn't get enough of it. The crab stuffed tilapia was incredible. If you are in the area, this is place is a must!

After a 6 hour drive to Martin for a funeral the next day, my family and I stopped in for dinner. The restaurant, a beautifully restored building in downtown Martin, had great atmosphere, friendly staff, and amazing food. We thoroughly enjoyed our experience and would recommend it.

Lovely interior and decor. Some of the food is pretty good, but it never really leaves a lasting impression. Certainly the nicest place to go in Martin, so definitely worth a visit.

Food and service was amazing! I haven’t had a ribeye this good since my Dad cooked one. Highly recommend the bourbon chocolate pecan pie!

Ambiance, drinks, waitress fantastic. Menu very limited. Had artichoke dip..too spicy, had 3 tenor chicken and asparagus. Dish had 2 pieces of hard tack bacon that were unchewable. Asparagus were less than pencil thin and Woody. Spouse had fish tacos. He says they were not good. Pricey. Sorry, not returning. We aren't locals and this was our 4th visit in 3 years.

This place is spot on with food, service, and the small details. Great dinner spot. It might be higher on the price scale for the area but is reasonably priced for a comparable experience in a larger city.

I have lived in Martin for a while and I went to the Opera House for the first time for a friend's graduation dinner. The service was excellent. My friend and I both had the crab cake stuffed tapalia, which was very good. A dish is around $13-$21 but definitely worth it for a night out or celebration.

The owner leaves a lot to be desired and owners allows family children behind bar at night sometimes which makes for an awkward bar experience, but the servers are outstanding and really care about their customers. They will even make the kids leave the bar if you're uncomfortable. Lol. I go here because the servers and bartenders really the experience outstanding.

It was so good I ordered more food after I ate my dinner... no regrets

Was a disappointment, food was ok price was way to high for the quality and amount they charge you. Our waitress was horrible, I mean if your a local see seemed to care more. I know tips are how they make there money, allways a great tipper if my needs are satisfied. $145.00 for a family of 4 no drinks, hope she enjoyed her $.13 tip, she didnt care about taking care of us. So I'm sorry I wont tip someone that doesn't meet the requirements. Swear people like that should find a new job, let me add there were customers but no where near busy...

Excellent chef and menu but always ask about specials. Good bar, excellent ambiance, can handle large parties. Service can be a little slow but worth it. Waitresses are A+ top line. I usually tip 25% because they are the best.

Without a doubt, the best restaurant in Martin. Every time I eat here, I am most pleased. The service is great, the food impeccable, and the ambiance is breathtaking.

Food was good and I was able to eat here without having to pay for my meal because it was our annual Christmas dinner that the cooperative has for us board members. We have now eaten here the past two years for such and both years had a very nice meal to enjoy. The service we received was excellent, too. Possibly my wife and I will come back to eat on our own although it is a good ways from our home so we won't be very often.

usually decent service but the past 2 times we have been we waited over an HOUR for our food and had plans later that night so ended up not getting to eat at all. the past time we went we had been there over and hour and the restaurant was half empty. when we said we had to be somewhere in 20 minutes and to just cancel our order the owner got VERY rude and VERY unprofessional about it and told us we should have come sooner even though our order had been placed over an hour before this time. she never even attempted to apologize about the wait and made us pay for our food without us getting to eat a single bite of it. i will no longer give my service to such a rude owner which is a shame. will NEVER be back to this place.

First off the navigation takes you down South Lindell Street but that is the back entrance on that side. There is a front entry way and parking if you go down Frederick street. The atmosphere is rather elegant without being imposing. The food and friendly service was to match. It’s a great place to dine with friends or have a romantic evening out. Simply is the nicest restaurant around. Reasonable prices and good tasting food.

The home made yeast rolls were excellent. Service was very good. Prices reasonable for the quality food.

Fantastic meal and the service couldn't have been better. We had Crab stuffed Tilapia, Flounder w\`Etouffee and a Filet. All dinners were so good. We also had seafood bisque. Which was very good as well. Highly recommend.

Ordered 'crab crusted salmon' and instead of a wonderfully moist salmon fillet with baked crab around it, I got overcooked salmon fillet with a fried crabcake balanced on top of it. Mind you, it was a huge crab cake, but not what the menu promised... wanted a healthy meal, but didn't get it. Food tasted OK, but nothing really to write home about. Not happy about the inaccurate descriptions.

Excellent service and excellent food .will definitely recommend it to friends/family.the best grilled pork chops I have ever had and the fried /breaded mushrooms .The homemade rolls just melt in your mouth.
